Tilawa Marina will start our 2012 season on April 15 through to Oct. 15 . We will be open for regular boat and camper services. Some planned refitting, construction and modifications will be ongoing throughout the campground and marina. Once the full scope of the renovations near completion we will post our new look and services on this website. Keep us in your browser, just bookmark this page in your favorites, and watch for our updates.

WHEN we open for the summer we would like to have your boat or pontoon tie up in our berths, or your camper trailer parked in our campsites. We may still be doing some renovations, and some dust may fly, but good and positive changes are happening. We have done some major construction and we're plannig for new services in the future.

Tilawa Marina is a medium sized Marina and RV/Camping destination. As the new owners, we are dedicated to providing a safe and secure boating experience for families, with our 48 Boat Slips for pontoon, sail and power boats and camping enjoyment at our RV/Camping spaces. This quiet and beautiful location is on the site of the oldest marina on the lake and is destined to be known for providing excellence of accomodations and charm for our clients.

Tilawa - Which means Land of Wind and Rain, Mountain and Water to us, is on beautiful quiet Tilawa Cove with boat slips well out of the lake traffic, and view oriented RV and camp sites, situated along the Northern lakeside, just east of the State Road 67 Butler Bridge on 1700 Sink Valley Road, in Butler, TN. (Formerly known as Pappy's Marina). Visit us this summer and enjoy the water and views at our special place on the lake. It's a little piece of heaven on the Tennessee, North Carolina border. We provide a family-oriented lake destination, recreation, and vacation hide-away.

Our Lease Rates for the 2012 season are NOT changed at this time. The 2011 Lease rates are posted and will apply to this season. Contact us if you have any questions or for the latest information about our opening date. We lease our watercraft slips and RV camping sites on annual, six month and three month periods. New leases start on April 15th at our very reasonable rates.

Once we receive an application for a lease we will contact you to clarify any questions we have and to take all the necessary actions needed to reserve you a space. Watauga Lake is in eastern TN, 3 miles from the North Carolina border, 15 miles from Mountain City, TN only 22 miles from Boone, NC. View the Directions and come visit us. We're on the Watauga Lake map near Marker #9. The lake is 16 miles long with over 100 miles of shoreline, much of which is in the Cherokee National Forest, and is considered one of the most beautiful settings in the TVA lake system, if you didn't know.
